366/366- Rock On!

Well, it's come down to the final day. I was hoping to get a picture of something saying "The end" or a picture of a fish or Caddie fin and have the title say "Fin", but it didn't quite work that way, but still ended on a fun note of Rock Band 2

Hope everyone had a fun and wonderful year, and hope you enjoied this trip that I decided to take one year ago, today. I've tried a few new things. Taken a few new angles. Shot objects I usually wouldn't shoot, and have trained my eye to see more photo opportunities that I usually would've missed as I've ALWAYS been on the lookout for cool shots, even though I may not have had my camera on me

365/366- Rose Parade

RCC was the final band in the Rose Parade today. Last time RCC when was in 03, the year before I came in. It was cool to end my 5yr run with the Tigers with the Rose Parade(and Indy in November). I even got a bit of airtime! :D

363/366- Rose Parade Floats

Float viewing and a shot I messed up on(zoomed in and holding above my head), but turned out good. Float is a combo of Cal Poly Pomona and San Louis Obispo. Half is built at CPP, and the other half is built at SLO and is combined for the parade

Been rainy lately so the ants come inside and you can't drop any crumbs, or they find it

351/366- Snow

Our local mountains are too low to usually get snow. The snow levels around here get to around 5-6,000ft elevation, so the mountains across the valley(Big Bear area) get the snow. Now and then, the levels drop low enough to get the tops of our maountains, but it's been so cold, we got snow about half way down them. The one pictured is about 3K. We have a set that's just over 5K just ot the east of this peak, but because it's warmer here, it doesn't get much snow. These mountains may get snow every other year

Sorry it's a cluttered sort of image, but it's pretty amazing and worth being PotD

Dave forgot his jacket in his car, so he made a mad dash through the rain to get it

Went outside and found this Garfield toy sitting in our yard. Could be from the neightbours. I don't think cats like to be wet though. Rain from the storm passing through

Raining really hard all day. I thought this would be something fun. I tried to keep water off the lense, but I think the little bit that got on adds to the effect of it being torrential
