118/366- Clouds
Had these wispy clouds all day. I wish I had taken my camera to class that evening because there was a stunning cloud that the sunset's light was reflecting on. Oh well

116/366- Rinse, Wash, Repeat
Went to a carwash for a fundraiser for the Special Needs students at my mom's high school. I wish this shot came out a tad better, but the wind was blowing the spray right at me, but the angle just made me keep going back to it

115/366- Tape Measure
Dad and I were setting up our Splash pool today. We also had bought some of that turf grass to use as a walkway and had to cut it into the appropriate lengths. The tape measure had been put down sometime in the day and wasn't rolled back up. I thought it was interesting

Could've been better, but there was something about the focus being on the little drops rather than the spash itself that was interesting

110/366- You Want Pizza?
Our dog likes to eat the pizza crust so she'll sit in front of you and as you get closer to the crust, she'll creep closer and closer. It's funny

106/366- Let the Clouds Free
My brother and I went on a field trip for an AWS thing. Went to Robinson Helicopters. Got a tour of the place and was pretty neat. Had a thought of what I wanted this building to do and was able to sort of get it. Something fun and abstract to do

103/366- Salt Creek
Salt Creek is the home to a rare fish in Death Valley called Pup Fish. They're about 3" long and live in this salty little stream. They were once freshwater fish and many other fish lived in the stream. As the creek turned saltier, everything died out, but the Pup Fish managed to stay alive long enough to adapt. I just like the composition as a whole for this picture

This is part of a 20 mule wagon train. Death Valley was mined heavily for its salt and borax deposits. The ore would fill these wagons up to 20tons. The tanker on the back was filled with water as the loads were hauled about 150mis to a railroad station where the ore was loaded up.
Salt deposits at Devil's Golf Course. Hard as rock and sharp as razors
Wonder what par they were on?
My brother and I have never been to Calico Ghost Town, so we went. Also had to make up for losing a day due to poping a tire after Ubehebe Crater on day one >_<

Hit Ubehebe Crater that morning and hiked around the whole thing. I liked the colour of the flower against the darker ground
Went to Stovepipe Wells and hung out a bit. Decided to go hiking in the dunes just to the west. Was looking for something really nice, but didn't find quite was I was after. A good shot though

101/366- Lightshafts
I'm thinking of making a seperate blog to go into more detail, but for now I'll give a quickie description along with a few other pics.
Dad, brother, and I went to Death Valley for spring break. It was fun and weather was nice. Went to the Nevada side first to take Titus Canyon. We stopped at a little town established during the Silver Rush called Leadfield. Had Dad and Kyle help me with it

We were going to head down to the Racetrack and decided to take a quick stop at Ubehebe Crater, the remnants of a vocano that blew up about 2,000 yrs ago. Made a pano again

Riverside Community College's library at night. I've always like the way it lookes with the yellow sodium vapor lights with the greenish-blue tint of the windows. I want to take more pics of this (Norco) campus as I go

My friend, David, and I went to a Civil War reinactment today out at the Chino Rec Park. It was pretty cool and would go to one again. Caught this guy JUST as he fired his rifle. You can see the still burning gunpowder!

Filled up a pot to cook Mac and Cheese today. The faucet was dripping(you have to nudge the handle sometimes to get it to stop) and felt like doing some photoing of drops. I hope to do this set up better somehow
