(9-8) Realized a few weeks back my MP3 player uses the same SDmicro card as my phone, but it's such a hassle due to my player always being in my truck, unless I need to charge it. Finally got this and the other off tonight

Dad was cleaning out a new car we got until my brother get's his car. Kind of like the contrasting textures of the red carpet and the diamonds on the rug

236/366- Spyder Shutter

Moved my paintball stuff out of my room. Thought I'd get a picture of my marker. 14" J&J Ceramics barrel, Spyder E-Trigger, and a 68ci Bulldog airtank. Last time I played was around late winter. Before then, it had been a few years. I've wanted to sell it a few times, but it's a great marker and love to use it and have spent a bit of money on the upgrades and still works great. Hey, I've taken out a few guys that had Angels and AutoCockers. A $200 gun taking down $2,000 markers... sweet stuff 8)

235/366- Starry Night

This started off as trying to stack the images to get something like this:

... but being in the city, it just doesn't work. Granted I knew I couldn't get something that good, but I thought I'd get something better. Oh well. I'll have to experiment with it later. I almost had something going for me that was interesting, but started to not work as I went along with it... and somehow was Ctl+Z'd and couldn't undo that, grr. Oh well

234/366- Foot Prints

Went to Moonlight Beach today for a fam get together. Tried to get more surf shots, but waves were tame and not many good surfers out, so no good shots. Walking back though, I liked the patterns the light and dark sand made as well as my just washed away foot prints

233/366- 3D Glasses

Got some 3D glasses in a Surfer mag. There was an add that was in 3D. There was also a section of a guy who took 3D surf pics that looked cool as well. I decided to grab a shot looking thought the glasses

232/366- Camera

New phone's camera. A nie step up from a 1.3mp. The joke however is the "OTA Capable" which is an inside joke with some of the guys on my DR forum

This is also about a crop of about 20% or less of the original picture. I'd love to have a 100mm macro :)

231/366- Inverted Colours

The boogie boards we have have the colours reversed and made for an ok looking contrasting colours picture. However, I inverted the colours to see what it'd look like, and it looked cooler

Got a new phone today. 2mp as opposed to my old one's 1.3mp. Better cell pictures when I run out of time or don't have my SLR on me. And the res is higher so more detail as well

Went to Speedzone today. Lots of fun. This is my brother on the slick kart track. My friend, David, is off in the back in the white. They also had F1's and dragsters

Finished the last of 4 shackles today. Did some mock up with the leafs as I also got the upper perch assembly(forground). I'm pleased with how they came out. Tiem to start of the hangers

225/366- Backyard Panorama

Clouds today were really nice this evening and have been wanting to do this kind of shot for a while... a 180º verticle panorama. This started off as trying to get the reflection of the clouds in the flat pool water, but then started to see the clouds overhead and behind me and so I went for it. I think it came out pretty nicely

I also decided to do a psudo-HDR of the scene as well. Both pictures were taken in RAW, but for the second, I put it through PhotoMatix to HDR it

Went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I haven't been here in quite a few years

Went to the Winchester House in the morning before going to the aquarium, and this is my fav picture from there. The steps are only 3" high or so

Mom, Kyle, Grandma, Theresa, and I took a trip up north to Salinas, CA to visit Monterey as well as the Winchester House. We stopped in Solvang for AEvelskievers. I thought I'd get a cool pic

Our pool's filter motor seemed on the fritz, so mom had me take a few shots of the tank so we could buy a new one. Thankfully, we only needed to get a new motor. I took a bit of a better picture for my PotD as to keep to my goal of not taking snapshots

Me using the notcher to cut some angle iron. Had the camera set on an angle grinder's storage box and propped up the camera with a set of vice grips to angle the camera up

Some RCC members are the drummers in a show Sea Wold puts on called Riptide. There's some breakdancing and gymnastics as well. I thought this was the best shot of the day
